After an excellent backpacking trip to Europe in 1998, I begun to develop this site to share that experience with other backpackers, so they could plan their trip in a better way.

A second backpacking trip in 2001, this time a backpacking honeymoon, motivated the complete reconstruction of the site, giving it a more professional look and a better organization, with more information and new sections.
I keep working on new sections in my spare time, so improvement remains constant.
