Nevertheless in about 100 yards is Torre Abbey (with its Agatha Christie room) and gardens. Within the Abbey's gardens are a pitch & putt, bowling greens and tennis courts. The Riviera Conference & Leisure Centre is about 200 metres; its a leisurely stroll to Torquay Rugby Football Club, the seafront and beach. The shopping centre, harbour and Princess Theatre are also within walking distance. The main line rail station in Torquay and coach station are nearby. For the comfort and safety of all our guests the Buckingham Lodge operates a strict non smoking policy. All rooms are ensuite. Prices are on a B&B basis but evening meals can be provided subject to prior agreement. We have a licensed bar lounge available for residents only.We are ideally placed for all Torquay attractions and the whole of the Torbay area, Our location is convenient for visitors to travel to other parts of South Devon. The beauty of Dartmoor is only a short drive away.
