The Salutation Hotel is full of historic character dating back to 1699 and reputed to be one of Scotland's oldest established hotels. Bonnie Prince Charlie used the hotel and his room is still in use today. The hotel is very famous for its landmark Adam window in the Adam Restaurant. The hotel is refurbished in the natural and relaxing traditional Scottish style. Reids Bar located on the ground floor is a relaxing and comfortable bar to savour some of the many malt whiskies we stock, a wide selection of tempting snacks are also available. During some nights of the week we offer live entertainment in Reids Bar, however if you prefer a quieter night the Stuart Room with its historic character is the place to be.
