Time, GMT
England goes with the Greenwich meridian, they are in GMT+0. The rest of Europe is in GMT+1. Mexico city is in GMT-6, so there is a difference of 7 hours between Mexico and Madrid.
Europe also uses daylight energy saving programs, but the switching dates are not the same all over Europe, so you must be aware of those changes so you do not loose your train.
