 When you travel alone you get...

    Pros:

• You grow up in confidence and maturity.
• You decide when or where to go and how much spend.
• You become a more independent and responsible people.
• You don't have to wait anyone, and decide if it is time to rest.
• Being alone will lead you to meet more people.

    Cons:

• It's not nice to eat alone and in silence.
• Get sick being alone and in a strange country must not be a happy experience.
• Hotel rooms become relatively more expensive.

  When you travel in groups you get...

    Pros:

• You have a friend that you can always trust (make sure he's your friend)
• You can share common travel expenses, specially if you are doing camping and you are traveling by car.
• You have someone to talk to and share travel experiences.
• More heads think better than one.
• Traveling with someone else is more fun, it is not easy to use the sense of humor with strangers.

    Cons:

• When the group is too big, is not easy to agree on what you are going to see, or where to go next.
• You have to make sure that you all match and have the same travel style, otherwise the trip can be a nightmare.
• It is more difficult to meet other travelers, since it is very easy to focus on your own partners.

     As an extra piece of advice: Write in a book all the communal expenses, so you can keep your money balanced, this will help you top avoid fights. Also, plan your itinerary in advance as most as you can so you don't have to decide on the fly.

    I once met two girls in Brugge, they had a very strange way of traveling. They could see Rome in one day and claim that they had seen in all and would not need more days in that huge city. However, they were always stopping on fashion stores to see the dresses and shoes. I just could not have traveled with them, but they both were very, very happy to do it in that way, and never had a fight. Neither you nor your friends need to be the greatest traveler in the world, you only have match. Am I right?
