Home  Travel Tips  Voltages & Plugs

. Voltages & cycles. Plugs and sockets.

Europe uses 220V and 50Hz, the American continent uses 110V-127V at 60Hz. Also, the plugs are different. In Europe (except England) use rounded pins. You can buy an adapter before departure, or you can buy it also in Europe if it brakes.

Most camcorders support both voltages, but you must check the specifications first. Make sure that all your electrical appliances support both voltages.

Are we forgetting something? Do you want to share some advice? Please let us know and we'll publish it here in the oldcontinent.com
