Home  Transportation  1st vs. 2nd Class

../es/transporte/. 1st Class vs. 2nd Class

Basically the difference between second and first class is the comfort, it has less seats and therefore they are bigger. Most trains have first and second class, first class is less crowded and cost 20% or 50% more money.

It doesn't make much sense to pay for first class unless you have to; if you are 26 years old or more, then you must buy a first class Europass. If you buy individual tickets then your age does not matter and you can buy second class tickets.

First class travelers can also travel in second class. If you travel in first class, then keep in mind that the price of the supplement and reservation in some cases include free expensive food.
