Our relaxing country cottage is located on 20 forested acres close to Tahoe National Forest & unspoiled scenic lakes. It is very quiet & secluded yet conveniently located near Hwy 80. Sugar Pine Retreat is 1 hour from majestic Lake Tahoe & 30 minutes from ski areas such as Sugarbowl & Boreal Ridge. We are also very close to the sister cities of Grass Valley/Nevada City renowned for their gold mining history. It is decorated in soothing earthtones & local artwork from various renowned artists. It has a fully equipped kitchen, living area, dining area, deck & hot tub with fabulous mountain view. In the warmer months the surrounding area is great for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking & fishing. In the winter months we get a fair amount of snow being situated at 3,700ft. Cross country skiing & downhill skiing are all close by. Sugar Pine Retreat offers complete privacy & relaxation for couples or small families.
