The original hotel was built in 1957 by the Brighenti Family. Additions were built in 1982 and 1987. The 1987 addition has become the main wing of the hotel and contains 80 luxurious rooms with panoramic views set to the rear of the 20 acre site. The hotel is still owned and operated by the Brighenti Family. There are also 3 long term guest apartments.
