Built over 180 years ago, with a new section added in 1970, the inn offers an intimate setting that's only a short walk to scenic Nauset Beach. Inside the warm, lantern-lit doorways are nineteen rooms, each individually decorated in a distinctly nautical style, and appointed with its own special colonial color scheme and genuine antiques. Several rooms feature authentic ship's knees, hand-painted trunks, old clipper ship models, braided rugs and four-poster beds. Some of the rooms have an ocean view, and the master suite has a working fireplace. A swimming pool and tennis court in a country setting is available. The inn, open all year, offers a complimentary continental breakfast.
