The copper penny inn is an 1860's farmhouse that has been converted to an inn. The inn offers elegant accommodations in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Located on route 376 by Vassar College in the town of Poughkeepsie. The inn is convenient to IBM, Vassar college, Marist college the culinary institute of America, historic Hyde park, estates of the Hudson, Dia Beacon, Millbrook, Rhinebeck, duchess county, hunt county, antiques and auctions and the scenic Shawangunk mountains.
